2027 New Speakers Orientation

Stepping into the role of Speaker of the House brings exciting opportunities and unique challenges. The SLLF New Speakers Program invites newly elected Speakers to join their peers in our nation’s capital for candid, off-the-record conversations.

This prestigious, once-in-a-lifetime program features discussions led by current and former Speakers of the House and nationally recognized experts in leadership, politics, and ethics. Participants will gain practical insights, exchange experiences, and explore the responsibilities of leading a legislative chamber.

The program also offers an invaluable opportunity to build lasting relationships and a trusted network of fellow Speakers who can serve as a resource long after the program concludes.
