Overview

Each year over half of all the speakers in the nation attend the NSC annual meeting, making this the single largest gathering of presiding officers in the nation. During the annual meeting, speakers are given opportunities to network with their peers and discuss many of the critical issues of the day.

Speakers  from across the nation met in Salt Lake City from September 6-9, 2023 to explore all that Utah has to offer and learn from each other about how to better lead your chamber and state.

Program Highlights

  • Free time to explore your ancestry at the Family History Library genealogical research facility.
  • Enjoy an organ performance by the Salt Lake Tabernacle Organ, one of the most notable instruments in America.
  • Experience the Utah Olympic Park first hand by taking part in the Bobsled Experience, Zip Tour and Extreme Tubing activities. Or soak up some history at the 2002 Winter Olympics Museum. Plus watch Olympic skiers and snowboarders perform acrobatic jumps into the olympic training pool.

Brad Wilson has represented Utah’s 15th House District for over a decade and currently serves as Speaker of the House, a position he has held since 2019. During his service in the Legislature, he has championed policies to make Utah one of the strongest, best managed, and most business-friendly states in the nation.
