October 20 – 23, 2021

Overview
Each year over half of all the speakers in the nation attend the NSC annual meeting, making this the single largest gathering of presiding officers in the nation. Special guest speakers for this year’s program included: Coach Bruce Pearl, Auburn University; Robert L. “Hoot” Gibson, Retired US Astronaut; and Anthony Ray Hinton of the Equal Justice Initiative. Other highlights included tours of the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute and the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville.
