Transatlantic Leadership Academy (TLA)

A transatlantic partnership bringing together European parliamentary leaders and U.S. state legislative leaders 

In 1999, the State Legislative Leaders Foundation (SLLF) established a transatlantic educational network to promote increased communication and cooperation among political, business and academic leaders in Europe and North America.  In the intervening years, this branch of SLLF has brought scores of US state legislative and business leaders together with their counterparts from across the European continent.  The end result has been an increased understanding and appreciation of the common bonds shared by leaders from democracies around the world.
