2008 TLA/SLLF Europe Board Meeting
The inaugural meeting of the Transatlantic Leadership Academy (TLA) was held on April 11–13 in Salzburg, Austria, one of Europe’s most charming cities and the home of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the Sound of Music. While in Salzburg, our delegation was hosted by the Speaker of the Salzburg Parliament, Johann Holztrattner. The Speaker, along with Alfons Schöps, planned a program worthy of this historic meeting.
On hand in Austria were parliamentary leaders from across the continent including a delegation of 5 U. S. state legislative leaders, members of the SLLF Advisory Council, and members of the TLA Business Advisory Council.
